Murray Karp

Managing Partner & COO

Mr. Karp is a Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer at ECP. He oversees finance and administration, financial reporting, human resources and information technology. Mr. Karp is also a member of ECP’s Risk Committee as well as is an observer on the Valuation Committee.

Prior to joining ECP in 2005, Mr. Karp was the Chief Financial Officer of AEA Investors LLC. Prior to that, Mr. Karp served as the Controller of Accordia, a start-up e-commerce consulting, technology and equity partnership company. Before his time at Accordia, Mr. Karp served as the Assistant Controller of Caxton Corporation and spent over 10 years at Coopers & Lybrand LLP.

Mr. Karp received a B.S. in Accounting from the Rutgers University School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant.
